John R. Cash known by his stage name “Johnny Cash” was one of the most renowned and influential American singer/ songwriter and performer of the 20th century. He was born on 26th February, 1932 and died in the September of 2003, residing for some 71 years. Frequently regarded as the second most dominant Rock N’ Roll musician after Elvis Presley, his music genre additionally covered Blues, Rockabilly, Gospel and Folk. Johnny was born in Kingsland, Arkansas, United States as the fourth son from their 7 kids to Ray Cash and Carrie Cloveree. His name was J. R. Cash in light of the fact that his guards could not think about a name. It was in the March of 1935 the family moved to settle down in Dyess, Arkansas. Their farm was drowned several times, which after encouraged him to compose the song “Five Feet High and Rising”. Around evening time he played with guitarist Luther Perkins and Marshall Grant as a group in local pubs. Before Cash, Perkins and Grant were already well-known as the Tennessee Two. With Johnny in, he proceeded to Sun Records studio, needing to get a contract for recording his tunes. In the aftermath of auditioning for Sam Phillips, singing for the most part gospel tunes, Phillips make him understand that he’d ceased recording Gospels any more. After loving world-wide name and popularity, in 1977 Johnny got a dreadful ailment “Shy-Drager syndrome”, a dangerous neurological disorder. Treatment was done promptly but the disorder never got better, resulting into diabetes. The situation got worse and in 1988 he was hospitalized for damaged lungs as a result of Pneumonia. While he was accepted at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Cash passed away from complications due to diabetes at around 2:00 A.M. He was 71 when he passed away.
